HOMEPLATE YOUTH SERVICES

Meeting Youth Where They Are

HomePlate envisions communities where homelessness is a short-term circumstance, not a long term or chronic condition, and youth are supported in their communities.

HomePlate serves youth ages 12-24 experiencing housing instability, and uplifts and empowers them through community building, education, and access to services and resources.

MONTHLY DINNERS

HomePlate provides a hot meal every Monday night at the Beaverton location. Any leftovers from the meal are given to youth or donated to the Just Compassion shelter in Beaverton.

On the first Monday of every month, Christ UMC provides a meal to the youth at HomePlate Youth Services at their Beaverton drop-in center (in downtown Beaverton). We need between 4-8 people on the first Monday of the month to buy ingredients, prepare, serve, and clean up a hot meal for 40 youth. Groceries will be paid for by donations.

Location: HomePlate Beaverton Drop-In Center (12685 SW 4th Street Beaverton, OR)
