We invite you to join by becoming a member of Christ United Methodist Church!
As always, all of our ministries and missions are open to all people! ALL MEANS ALL, and we mean it. Whether you are a member or not, you are welcome!
Becoming a member, however, is a step of faith and a commitment to the community. Members acknowledge that growth in faith happens in community with others, and that they choose this community.
There are a few rights that members are entitled to (annual votes on certain church decisions), but the real benefits are the relationships, prayers, and support we commit to each other as siblings in Christ.
If you need a church, we would like to be your church. To learn more about membership, fill out the form below, or contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
United Methodists are Christians.
We affirm our unity with all Christians, indebted to those who have gone before us, handing down the faith, and committed to creating an evermore Christ-like community for those coming behind us.
United Methodists are Connectional.
We are a global connection of churches with 12 million members worldwide, sharing in ministries and organization. Together, we can do more.
United Methodists Change the World.
We are committed to putting faith into action. Through our giving and our hands-on actions, we answer needs around the world and create real change for the well-being of all God's creation.

The Traditional Membership Vows of The United Methodist Church.
Anyone can join the United Methodist Church, you don't have to have a phD in Methodism! We believe faith is a journey. Baptism and membership is just the beginning! When you join a United Methodist Church, you will be asked these four traditional questions. If you can say yes to these four questions, you are welcome!
1. Do you renounce the spiritual forces of wickedness, reject the evil powers of this world, and repent of your sins?
2. Do you accept the freedom and power God gives you to resist wrong, oppression, and injustice in whatever forms they present themselves?
3. Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Savior, put your whole trust in his grace, and promise to serve him as your Lord?
4. As a member of Christ’s universal church and this congregation, will you be loyal to Christ through this United Methodist Church, and do all in your power to strengthen its ministries by your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness?
