The Oregon-Idaho Conference of The United Methodist Church maintains this website as a service to its churches, members and guests. The Terms of Use and Policies are designed to protect and inform our users, as well as to protect the rights of the conference and its partners and contractors.

Personal Information

The website will only collect personal information that you provide for items such as subscriptions, “contact us emails” or event registration. This information is not publicly shared with third parties outside of the business use by the conference.  Some event registrations may show a list of people attending the event.  Personal information may also be shared in order to comply with the law, to enforce or apply the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use or to protect the rights, property or safety of the website, any user of the site, The Oregon-Idaho Conference or any of its officers, employees, agents or affiliated organizations. Contact information for clergy of the conference and persons serving on conference committees, task forces, or other nominated roles may be displayed on the website to facilitate the business of the conference. You may request that your contact information not be shown by contacting your district office. 

Transaction Information

Credit card data is not collected or maintained on this site or conference servers. Any credit card transaction is processed via an encrypted connection between your computer and our merchant services providers. Refunds of credit card transactions will be made when a registration is cancelled by the posted date for refunds.

Website Log Files and “Cookies”

Like most websites, this website logs your IP address, browser type, hits on particular pages and other general traffic information. This information is not linked to personally identifiable information and you remain anonymous. A "cookie" is a file that is sent from a web server to your web browser and placed on your computer. When you initially visit the website we create a cookie for your computer and then use it to track your clicks as you go through the site. There is no personal information stored within the cookie itself and we cannot use cookies to retrieve personal information about you or from your computer. While your activity may be tracked while you are at our website, we do not use cookies to track your activity before or after you leave the site.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

While our website is not subject to COPPA, we love children and understand that it is very important to maintain their privacy. Therefore, our policy is that we will not knowingly collect, use or distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information from any child under 13 years old without verifiable parental consent and not knowingly allow any child under 13 years old to publicly post or distribute personally identifiable information without verifiable parental consent.

The Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church reserves all of its rights to any text, graphics, pictures, video, audio, posting, and downloadable material. These items are copyrighted by and are the property of the Conference or its partners and contractors. You may not use them without express permission. Express permission is granted for use of articles, photo, and downloadable items by United Methodist Churches, agencies and related organizations. Reprinting of articles or photos either in print or online should include attribution to the original author/photographer and conference website.
