Several youth piled onto an inner tube sledding down a snowy hill.

Teenagers are the keepers of the holy fire.

Their youthful quest for passion and things worth dying for is a prophetic message to the church: be alive! At Christ UMC, we see the youth as the now. We are creating a youth ministry where teenagers grow in faith, Christ’s love and their community.

Here are just some of the things our youth group is up to.

  • Youth Group

    We meet every Sunday.

    • On the 1st and 3rd Sundays we gather after service and enjoy lunch together. Great bonding time over a meal. Something we call Youth Lunch Cafe.
    • On the  2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays, we gather at 5pm for something fun, educational and inspirational.

A few of the special events we have coming this year... Winter Retreat at Suttle Lake, monthly Trivia Nights, Community Easter Egg Hunt, SLAM Mission Trip this July, Camp Magruder this summer, and our annual Halloween Block Party this October.

Got a fun idea for our youth?  Our ministry team wants to know! Email Jessi or Kimi at and let them know your cool idea and they will try to make it happen.

Helpful Forms

Medical Authorization Form

All youth need to have a medical authorization form on file before their parents can leave them at youth events. Paper copies are available in the church office or you use the online form (link below).

Volunteer Sign Up

Volunteering for the church youth program is essential as it allows us to nurture the next generation in faith, providing guidance and positive role models to help them grow spiritually and make a positive impact on their lives and their community. Please sign-up online or email Jessi at the email address below.

Background Check

We run a background check on everyone who serves in our children and youth ministries.  If you would like to serve please download and fill out the form below and turn it into the church office or into the youth mailbox in the cabinet by the church's front doors.

  • If you would be willing to donate $10 to help offset the costs we would much appreciate it.
