Aloha UMC and Pastora Keren will be hosting a Las Posadas and has invited Christ UMC (and others) to join in on the celebration. Las Posadas is a vibrant and traditional Mexican Christmas celebration that reenacts the journey of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter in Bethlehem. Communities come together to recreate the Holy Family's quest, going from house to house, singing carols, and seeking "posada" (shelter). Las Posadas is a beautiful cultural and religious observance that emphasizes the importance of community, kindness, and the anticipation of the Christmas miracle.
