Camp iwannabe is a five year program designed to show children that they can change the world with love through our actions, thoughts and words. Hosted at Christ United Methodist Church co-sponsored with Westside UMC & West Portland UMC.

At Camp iwannabe: changing the world with love, children will learn the importance of being kind and treating others with respect, regardless of differences, because God made each of us special. Campers will explore God’s world through science, music, Bible stories, games, crafts and hands-on service to others.

Our 2020 theme is Courageous and it will be weaved throughout the activities as we help children learn to be courageous with their words and actions in age- appropriate ways.

Families are encouraged to participate as volunteers or by joining us on Saturday for a celebration BBQ. If your schedule doesn’t allow for attending the entire time, just let us know!
